Rupee weak by 15 paisa to trade at
62.17 against US dollar in excepted trade today due to sustained
demand for the American currency from importers. The dollar's additions against other
currencies overseas and a lower opening in the domestic equity market
also put pressure on the local unit forex merchants said. Meanwhile, the benchmark BSE Sensex
reduce by 113.17 points, or 0.41 per cent, to 27,717.93 in early
trade today.
