The
rupee admire by six paise to 61.67 against the US dollar in trade
today at the Interbank Foreign Exchange on increased upward s elling
of the American currency by exporters. Strengthening of the
dolla r against major currencies overseas and a bigger opening in
domestic equity markets, supported the rupee. The rupee had regained
by two paise to close at 61.73 yesterday on grind closed selling of
dollars by banks and exporters. The benchmark BSE Sensex
regained by 55.75 points, or 0.19 %, to trade at 28,906.72 in opening
trade today.
