Rupee Opens Marginally lower at 66.75 per Dollar

The USD-INR pair is expected to trade in a range of 66.60-66.90/dollar today, says Mohan Shenoi of Kotak Mahindra Bank.
 
 
The Indian rupee has opened lower by 5 paise at 66.75 per dollar on Wednesday against previous close of 66.71 a dollar. Mohan Shenoi of Kotak Mahindra Bank said, "With the end of the financial year approaching and a long holiday weekend in India, activity in currency markets is expected to be muted." The dollar rose as the euro and sterling weakened following attacks in Brussels weighing on investor risk sentiment and bolstering the view that Britain was more likely to vote to exit the european union.
