Rupee getting off-track 21 paise to Rs 63.50 against the US dollar in trade today at the Interbank Foreign Exchange due to increase in the greenback's value against other currencies overseas. Dealers ascribe the slide in rupee to dollar's gains profit against the euro which slide to a nine-year low; but a maximum opening in the domestic stock market limited the slide down of the domestic currency. Indian rupee had closed 6 paise higher at 63.29 against the greenback on Friday, helped by selling of dollars by banks and exporters among aspiration of more foreign capital arrivals into the equity market. The benchmark BSE Sensex recover the 28,000-mark by rising 122.45 points, or 0.44 per cent, to 28,010.35 in trade today.
