Rupee slid by 10 paisa to 61.51 against the dollar in early trade today at
the Interbank
Foreign Exchange market due to the admiration of the US
currency
overseas.
Forex dealers attributed the domestic currency's fall down
to the dollar's gains
profit against other global currencies and a
lower opening in the domestic equity
market.
The rupee had closed
marginally bigger by one paisa at 61.41 against the
American
currency in yesterday's trade amid volatile markets on the back
of a
max dollar overseas.
